Education Reimagined
Discover a place where students are not just educated but transformed.
Our Vision
Experience the future of education with an innovative 4-day-a-week learning environment designed for grades 1-12. Rooted in faith and driven by excellence, the EC Learning Hub is a community where students thrive academically, spiritually, and socially. We aim to support EC families by offering affordable, high-quality, biblically-based education.
The Hub is Expanding
Growing from 30 students to 100 for fall 2024.
Grades 1-9 are now offering in-person certified teachers!
Grades 1-9
Partnering with Airdrie Christian Academy (ACA) provides a robust, print-based distance education program as the educational backbone for grades 1-9. This unique and valuable partnership enables Alberta government funding and the employment of in-person certified teachers. We will hire four full-time teachers along with four teacher assistants, organizing classrooms into shared grades: 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8/9. This structure not only expands our enrolment capacity to accommodate up to 85 students in Grades 1-9 but also commits to maintaining smaller class sizes for a more personalized learning experience.
Grades 10-12
Continuation with BCS@Home offers high-quality, independent online education for Grades 10-12, instructed by certified BCS@Home teachers, with a classroom overseen by an EC Hub Facilitator. This program, tailored for highly independent learners, prepares students for higher education and beyond in our shared classroom environment of up to 15 students. It is crucial to note that EC facilitates the environment, and not the educational content. For consistency, students wishing to enroll must independently register with BCS@Home, which maintains its own application process and consultation requirements separate from EC Learning Hub.

Curriculum
Students will be taught Alberta Education aligned LA, Science, Social Studies, & Math. Also, non-core subjects such as PE, Art, Bible & Music will be available as well. Please note that all subject matter will be presented from a Christian/Biblical worldview.
Grades 1-9 will offer in-person teaching while Grades 10-12 are using BCS@Home online education. Our goal is to engage students in compelling learning environments while easing students into the use of devices as they progress through grades.
Biblically Based Education
The EC Learning Hub is deeply rooted in a biblically-based educational framework, integrating scriptural principles across all subjects.
Weekly morning chapel offers a vibrant worship experience for students, accompanied by age-specific biblical teachings from Experience Church's staff members. Through engaging games and activities, we aim to make learning about faith fun and interactive, fostering a deeper understanding and connection to spiritual principles.
Parental Involvement
There's a battle to remove parents from the education process of our children. At the EC Learning Hub, we strongly believe in and value the role parents have as primary educators for their children. We come alongside parents in educating their children and ask parents to be actively involved in supporting the learning process at the Hub.
Parents are encouraged to volunteer as a Hub Helper at least once every two weeks. Individual availability can be discussed upon application.
